Abbiamo pubblicato sulla nostra rivista i tre comunicati della Sala Stampa della Santa Sede che annunciano rispettivamente la firma di un accordo provvisorio tra la Santa Sede e la Repubblica popolare cinese sulla nomina dei vescovi; la riammissione nella piena comunione ecclesiale dei vescovi «ufficiali» ordinati senza mandato pontificio; l’erezione della nuova diocesi di Chengde, suffraganea di Beijing, nella Cina continentale.

THREE PRESS RELEASES FROM THE VATICAN PRESS ROOM ON THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN HOLY SEE AND CHINA
In this article, we publish three press releases from the Holy See Press Office announcing respectively the signing of a provisional agreement between the Holy See and the People’s Republic of China on the appointment of bishops; the readmission into full ecclesial communion of the “official” bishops ordained without a pontifical mandate; the erection of the new diocese of Chengde, suffragan of Beijing, in mainland China. The three press releases were all released on September 22.
